Mgr. Jiří Mašlej, attorney at law

Jiří has been practicing law and advising his clients since 2014. His strength is anticipating possible risk situations and providing comprehensive legal solutions in order to mitigate these risks so that they are eliminated in the future.

In his practice, Jiří has been representing clients in civil and criminal proceedings for a long time. He is particularly interested in contractual matters, be it contracts of work, purchase

agreements for immovable property (real estate), lease agreements or, for example, commercial representation agreements and broker contracts.

Moreover, Jiří provides legal representation to his clients in litigation proceedings, where he is thoroughly familiar with the process of enforcing client's claims and recovering debts, especially claims for payment, contractual penalties, rights of defective performance and the release of unjust enrichment.

Jiří has been a sole practitioner since 2021 and has been a partner in the law firm JK advokáti since 2023. He gained his experience as a sole practitioner in an international law firm based in the Czech Republic focusing, among other on family law, ARROWS advokátní kancelář, s.r.o.

Mgr. Tomáš Klabouch, associate

Tomášhas long specialized in providing legal services in the field of tax administration and tax litigation.

In April 2022, he was named a recommended tax lawyer in the Czech Republic by the internationally recognized publication The Legal 500 (EMEA 2022).

Tomáš gained his experience in the field of Tax Law mainly during his tenure at the international law firm Deloitte Legal, s.r.o., where he was involved in representing taxpayers across many industries in tax administration, especially in tax authoritie's audit procedures and subsequent tax and court proceedings, including proceedings before the Supreme Administrative Court.

Administrative courts, including the Supreme Administrative Court, have repeatedly upheld Tomáš's cases and these court decisions have contributed significantly to the cultivation of further tax administration practice in the Czech Republic. Tomáš mentioned some of these in his article (in Czech) for the Chamber of Chartered Accountants.

Combining the know-how of an international law firm and the motivation to better the practice of tax administration in the country, Tomáš is an ideal partner in situations where clients are confronted by the tax authorities.

Mgr. Metoděj Bohuněk, attorney at law

Metoděj graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University. He has been practicing law since 2011. Metoděj provides his services in the field of general legal practise with a particular focus on Criminal Law and Real Estate Law. In addition to that, he offers his clients legal representation in various topics falling in the area of business and corporate environment where he can rely on his profound experience in this field. For example, as early as during his undergraduate studies, Metoděj participated in the establishment of a successful start-up.

Through his personal experience and his practice, Metoděj has a deep insight into the obligations, risks, challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for clients, both entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurs. His character traits then guarantee his clients responsibility, diligence and a the never give-up attitude.

Metoděj has spent a part of his practice in a team dealing with the real estate agenda and providing services to real estate agencies and individuals.

He then spent another part of his practice in a team that dealt with matter of Criminal Law. As a result, Metoděj has been involved in a large number of cases on both the defence and the victim side.

JUDr. David Ptáček, attorney at law

David has been practising law since 2014. He first worked in the field of debt collection in a medium-sized law firm, including representing clients before courts. Since 2015, he started working with Mgr. Michal Balcar, an established attorney at law based in Prague. Initially as a legal assistant and later as an associate.

David graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in the field of the general legal practice and specializes in Real Estate Law and Employment Law. He also focuses on Family Law, Commercial Law and Litigation.

David received his doctorate degree (juris doctor or J.D.) from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague in 2021, when he successfully defended his rigorous thesis on Immediate Termination of Employment. David has been an independent lawyer since 2023.

David provides his legal services in Czech and English.
